One consistent through the year of 2025; building a fire and cooking a fish. A ritual that’s been in my life a long time. Beginning on Big Gull Lake in northern Canada, at 5 years old, eating gummy worms while my dad and papa fished for our dinner. I am now watching my partner fish on the other side of the ocean, the reward still the same.
