Life in a Lifejacket
Original Painting, Available
35”x45” acrylic on canvas (2025)
Thanks to my Papa, his rickety old boat and the Land O’ Lakes I spent most summers in a life jacket that smelled like fish and gas cans. We rode along the deep blue with leeches on the end of our hooks, eating gummy worms greased with sunscreen. The evenings sparkled on the water and the wind was full of campfire and citronella.
